The British Anti-Vivisection Association

is a voluntary, unpaid organisation which exists to expose the fraudulent practice of animal experimentation : concentrating on the medical, scientific, environmental and economic aspects of the argument.

All efforts, by the genuine anti-vivisection movement, to elicit peer-reviewed, evidence-based research, from the vivisection industry and its supporters, showing the scientific validity of animal experimentation, have failed.

As it is becoming ever more widely known that animal experimentation results in colossal amounts of death and damage to humans as well as animals – laboratory or otherwise - and is a threat to the planet’s eco-system, vivisection is becoming increasingly difficult to defend. That is why the industry and its on-the-payroll political and media agents prefer the human rights versus animal rights argument.

If the public genuinely believe that children have cancer due to bad luck and that torturing rats and dogs will find a drug to cure cancer – a totally impossible concept – it is quite understandable why animal rights arguments hold no water with the public.

Hundreds of thousands of combinations of petro-synthetics are in the Earth environment – the air, the waters, the land, the foods, the humans, birds, animals, fish … : all without any valid safety and efficiency testing.

By choosing the right species of animal, bird, fish… , the right dosage, the right mode of ingestion .. virtually anything can be passed on to the market : Death Cup mushrooms, deadly nightshade, hemlock, strychnine, scopolamine, Prussic acid, thalidomide, Clioquinol, Vioxx, Opren, Cylert, cigarettes … all safe.

Conversely : lemons, comfrey, parsley, moderate amounts of sunshine … can all be shown to be dangerous or deadly.

The cancer plague spirals further out of control : thanks to vivisection. As Nobel Laureate, Dr Otto Warburg demonstrated, cancer is, fundamentally, an anaerobic condition. Oxygen is increasingly being forced out of the cell by pollution : the pollutants are “animal-safety-tested”.

The failure of research into cancer, arthritis, diabetes, heart disease etc etc - after countless billions of pounds/dollars/yen wasted ; and the creation of tens of thousands of new diseases are due to animal experimentation.

“Animal research” guarantees failure and the ever-lasting need for “more funds for research”.

The multi-trillion dollar empire of petrochemicals, vivisectors, animal breeders and suppliers, torture equipment maufacture and sellers, the on-the-take medical, political and media agents, and the rest, constitute a very powerful obstacle to change.
